In 2023 Dennis won the Bobby Rush Blues Entertainer Award at the Jus’ Blues Music Awards in Tunica, Mississippi
He also spent three years playing guitar with The Bus Boys (the boys are back in town) and with The Zac Harmon Band, when they won first place in the 2004 Blues Music Awards Competition in Memphis TN.
