He has evolved into a well-respected, multi-genre musician who has toured and recorded throughout his life. Dan is well-known for his soulful, shredding guitar solos and his passion for the blues. He has performed with many artists, including Taj Mahal, Bill Kreutzmann (Grateful Dead), Charlie Musselwhite, Buffy Sainte-Marie, Mike Gordon (Phish), and Steve Kimock, and has been a supporting act for Johnny Winter, Gregg Allman Band, Little Feat, John Mayall, B.B. King, Blue Oyster Cult, Robin Trower, Foghat, and Canned Heat, among many others.
