“Blues with Soul”
Lloyd L Tolbert has played harmonica for over 40 years and is a fixture in Eugene’s local blues scene. He is currently fronting The Lloyd L Tolbert Band. Regular band members include: RJ Herb – guitar & vocals, Rick Markstrom – drums & vocals and Michael Hatgis – bass & vocals. We also add Paul Biondi on horns, Guss Russell or Skip Jones on keys, Byron Case on bass and Tim Seifert on drums when the need arises. Lloyd has also enjoyed a long relationship playing in a duo with original Capricorn recording artist Peter Giri. In 2010 Lloyd was awarded first place at the Northwest Harmonica Championships.
