$7 Minimum purchase

Let’s welcome Vancouver Washington’s singer and songwriter dynamo Melissa Buchanan back to the stage! After her debut last summer with performers Laura Price (Texas’), Lisa Mann ~ (Double Dynamite Show), Dave Melyan and Jason Thomas, Eugene has been asking time and time again to see this lovely soulful singer back in Eugene. So, between Macs Nightclub and Blue Dragon Entertainment, we are making your wish our command! Melissa has teamed up with some of the PNW top musicians and we are ready to rock it with the likes of them this month! Save the Date! Jan 27th!

Suburban Slim ~ Guitar~
A little tidbit about the guitarist… Long time CA transplant Suburban Slim has been in Oregon since 1981. During this time, he has astonished crowds with his unbelievably soulful voice while baffling other guitarists with his crushing, mellifluous and seemingly endless ideas on his instrument. Phil Wagner aka Suburban Slim is a true modern day guitar slinger/songwriter with soul! Billed as a “One of a kind fiery blend of original blues, rockabilly, surf and vintage R&B” band, Suburban Slim plays with The Strange Tones. The multi-talented Suburban Slim plays lead guitar, rhythm guitar, vocals, trumpet, and bass for The Strange Tones. Suburban Slim has been nominated for several Cascade Blues Association’s Muddy Awards, including winning Best Blues Electric Guitar in 2005, 2006 and 2008. Additionally, The Strange Tones have been nominated and won several Muddy Awards too!

Ed Neuman ~ Keys~
Ed Neumann is no stranger to the music scene. Having played music for over 50 years, Neumann says, “My life revolves around the groove.” He calls himself the groove chaser! You’ll understand when you see him play the keyboard and belt out the vocals. He has played many venues with the Jim Mesi Band a couple of years ago with Duffy Bishop and Chris Carlson, which marks his 50th anniversary of playing music. That is amazing in itself!

Neumann plays different styles of music, anywhere from blues, rock, soul and surf to R & B. You name it, he’s played it. Neumann played with Bobby Helms (“Special Angel & Jingle Bell Rock”) and he’s backed up Bo Diddley when with the Jim Mesi Band. He’s also played with Mark Lyndsey of Paul Revere & The Raiders (at their famed last ride). Neumann played with the Jim Mesi Band for over 20 years. (Back in the day, Jim Mesi played guitar in Brown Sugar with the late-great Paul DeLay on harmonica and vocals). The accomplishments were several Muddy Awards from the Cascade Blues Association in 2001, which included Best Northwest Album, Best Local Act and Best Performance at the 2001 Waterfront Blues Festival. The Jim Mesi Band played clubs, concerts and festivals all over the West Coast, Hawaii and beyond. The band’s European tours have included dates in Iceland, England, Scotland, Holland, Germany, Belgium, Norway, Denmark, Bosnia, Croatia, and Macedonia.

Dave Melyan ~ Drums ~ Dave has a resume just as long with many fans to prove it! I believe he is up for a Muddy award this year as well! His Drumming is top notch, and he is called upon to hold down the rhythms by many greats throughout the nation, plus his personality is one you’ll never forget!

This is a show you don’t want to miss!
