MICHAEL TRACEY & the HI-TONES is at its core, a high energy blues band, but their set list includes a healthy dose of cover and original of Rock, Funk, R&B, and Soul. They are well known as a band that can quickly fill a dance floor and keep it full all night. Fronted by award winning singer, songwriter and harmonica player, Michael Tracey, this is a quickly rising band on the Northwest music landscape. The band released it’s first album in 2009 entitled “Got To Get Away” which is receiving great reviews and radio play. The band honed their chops hosting a Wednesday night jam session at a Night Club, Diablo’s Downtown Lounge over a 5 year residency before moving on to regional festivals such as The Eugene Celebration, The United States Olympic Trials, The Willamette Valley Blues and Brews Fest, The Hops Festival, and the Chowder Blues and Brews Festival.
This band is not afraid to travel to Night Clubs, Festivals and private parties.

Band Member Bios:
Paris native Sylvain Duplant (Bass) has been playing music and singing his whole life, and has toured France and other parts of Europe as a founding member of the Psychedelic Rock band “ALICE” as well as the Tango group, “Mood Area 52”. He is a multi-instrumentalist, (Classical Double Bass, Cello, Guitar, Mandolin, and Accordian) and a capable songwriter as well.
Formerly of Seattle and L.A. native, Stephen Arriola (Guitar) has hosted numerous blues jams and served in the role of lead guitar player for many bands including the popular Oregon Americana band “Silas”, “Stone Mosey”, “Johnny Wilde and the Blue Yonder” and “Phoebe Blume” and others that have taken him as far away as Shanghai, China. Specializing in Bottle-neck and Lap Style Slide guitar, Stephen’s soulful playing has been compared to Ry Cooder and David Lindley. “Give me a great singer to support, and you will get your money’s worth!” says Arriola.
